Fit

You and I must have been a supercontinent in a past lifetime,

Our complementary edges tell the tale.

I nuzzle into you in every way I can,

Filling your spaces, taking your heat,

See? We fit.

You and I must have been a supercontinent in a past lifetime,

Our drift caused by bubbling doubts and anxious convection currents.

I get close every way I can,

Creating a mountain range with my leg over yours,

See? We fit.

You and I must have been a supercontinent in a past lifetime,

The bones in us say we were.

You turn me over onto you,

The ocean of your duvet follows,

See? We still fit.
